Since settling in Solesdi’s RiNo showroom in 2015, Italian design company Boffi has brought countless high-end kitchens, bathrooms, and closets to residences all over the Rocky Mountain region. Now Boffi is striking out on its own, with a new Denver showroom planned for 2022 that has plenty of room to highlight its ever-growing array of luxury home fittings. We talked with Boffi Denver’s Managing Director Ann Hofmeister to get the scoop on this exciting new chapter.

Boffi has had a presence in Colorado since 2015, fill us in on the evolution and what you’re up to now.

When we first opened in 2015, Boffi Studio Denver was operated by Solesdi US, but late last year the two companies decided to part ways. Our roots remain in Milan, but Boffi Denver will now officially join the Boffi USA network which consists of showrooms in SoHo, Georgetown, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles. We loved being a part of Solesdi and thought our space was one of the most beautiful in the world, but we’re looking forward to a fresh identity and excited to share our new showroom with the Colorado design community.

Boffi is world-renowned for its Made In Italy lines of kitchens, baths, and closets, which reside in high-end homes all over the world.

How has Boffi tackled some of the challenges posed by the pandemic?

Boffi has continued to move forward at a steady pace, without interruption, while focusing on innovating new designs and products. We recently partnered with Time & Style, a traditional Japanese company, which created a line of low tables, chairs, and light fixtures made from solid wood and traditional Japanese washi paper that pairs beautifully with the sophisticated systems from Boffi and DePadova. We will be featuring some of these products along with our newest kitchen systems in our new showroom!

In addition to innovations like the Sloane handle, a recessed cabinet handle designed by architect Piero Lissoni, Boffi has also kept busy with a new line of furniture and lighting options with Japanese company Time & Style, including the Bombori Lamp.

What can you tell us about the new showroom? And where can we find Boffi Denver now?

We loved our home at Solesdi in RiNo; however, being that we’re a brand that offers more than just kitchens, we wanted our own space so we can highlight all of our products. Most everyone knows Boffi for our kitchens, baths, and closets, but many may not know about Boffi’s acquisition of DePadova, MA/U, and ADL. DePadova and MA/U offer a large furniture selection from sofas to dining tables to rugs and ADL, which Boffi acquired several years ago, has a fantastic selection of interior doors with a wide range of finishes. With these brands, the Boffi group can now furnish a home in its entirety.

Currently, we are in the process of building out our new showroom in a prime location in Denver. We’ve acquired the best space and we plan to open our doors at the beginning of 2022. In the meantime, while construction is being completed, we are fully operational and currently based out of 742 S Broadway. The best way to get in touch with us is either through email or phone.

Interior doors from ADL and furniture options from DePadova and MA/U now allow the Boffi group to furnish entire homes.

What are you most excited about for this year?

We have quite a few projects in the pipeline right now that we are excited about. Juggling many projects at once, all in different locations keeps things interesting. No one project is like another, navigating the custom components and different styles of our clients keeps our work fresh and exciting. We are very happy to be working with one of our favorite California-based architecture firms again on another large project in Aspen. We’re also working with some great contractors that we’ve built relationships with over the years, but we also continue to build new relationships, which is one of the most rewarding aspects of our business. We’re excited for our new showroom to open and all of the new friends and clients we’ll make in our new home.
