Roth Living To Launch Inspiring Design

This fall, appliance showroom Roth Living is launching a mini version of one of their showroom's key shopping experiences.

From the beginning, appliance showroom Roth Living has been about helping consumers outfit their new kitchens with luxury appliances with confidence by creating a more personalized shopping experience. To better achieve that end, the company recently began an ambitious effort to makeover their five showroom locations (Denver, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Salt Lake City) by mobilizing cutting-edge design and technology to better serve their clientele.

The Denver location of Roth Living is considered to be the firm’s flagship store. Featured in our Spring 2019 issue, the new showroom debuted as a part of the multi-story building off Broadway designed by local firm Arch11. One of the hallmark pieces of the project is the showroom’s 16-by-9 foot digital wall which helps customers visualize appliances in their own space. Displayed at life-size scale, the tool allows consumers to experiment with potential appliances and evaluate them in context.

But now, Roth Living is sharing a free version of this technology with the masses. Called Inspiring Design, the site will allow consumers and trade professionals alike to customize a luxury appliance package wherever they are. The online appliance configurator will have a robust functionality, allowing users to arrange products by room or area, compare models of appliances, see style options, and view the customized selections as a suite. The tool will also aid communication between project collaborators, allowing the user to instantly share product details with builders, designers, architects, and anyone else involved in the project.

Due to come online in late autumn of this year, Inspiring Design promises to be another tool to help streamline the design process and make it more enjoyable to consumers. “Designing a kitchen can become an emotional process and we want consumers to feel brave and confident about their decisions.” says Denise Knoblich, Corporate Vice President of Sales. “Our hope is that Inspiring Design ignites the thrill of creativity with trade professionals and consumers and inspires users to explore all of the possibilities.”
