Q. mhmraw is really unlike any publication created by a brokerage firm, what is the idea behind the magazine and who is your audience?

A. The world of traditional brokerage publications is a bunch of small square images of houses with your typical information of beds/baths/price. Consumers search online and most of these magazines are obsolete the day they are printed end up in the recycle bin as soon as they hit the mailbox. We wanted to create an experience, but also something that would celebrate the growing city in which we love. milehimodern has always marketed properties in an elevated form—through art, beauty, amazing photography, and storytelling—why not capture that in a magazine? We want to feature personalities, art, architecture and design that celebrates Denver and Boulder—our brand stands for the “art of living” and we embrace that in all forms, including real estate.

Q. The magazine has an emphasis on arts and cultural with very little real estate content that is so prominent in other publications from brokerage firms, how will mhmraw fit within the milehimodern brand?

A. mhmraw celebrates the “art of living.” mhmraw is an extension of our real estate brand—art, design, personalities and architecture in a city that is changing daily—we are part of it and want to tell its various stories through our lens of photography and copy. The lack of real estate ads is purposeful. The magazine is a gift to our clients, friends and new people discovering what makes Denver and Boulder tick. Yes, real estate is our business and people will discover that organically through our messaging.

Q. Where can people find mhmraw and what can we look forward to in future issues?

A. mhmraw is available at our office/gallery in LoHi, through our amazing brokers, and several other locations. The future on mhmraw is an exciting one for us—now that the first issue is out we are ready to jump into the deep end and we can’t wait to swim. More personalities, artists and movers/shakers will be appearing on our pages. Our website is a natural extension as well: mhmraw.com.
