Venice Architectural Biennale 2018

Exploring the Biennale Architettura 2018

Modern in Denver photographer James Florio traveled to Venice to capture some of the exhibits from the Biennale Architettura – a six month-long event known for its importance and influence in the architectural world. While in Venice, Florio captured the exhibit of local Colorado architect Mark Harris, who was invited to the event because of his innovative solutions to tackling the greatest design challenges of the 21st century. While we discuss the event in depth in our summer issue, we wanted to share some more of the shots that Florio took while wandering the exhibits. Scroll through to check out Florio’s fantastic results and click the link to learn more about how this historic exhibition continues to transform and reinvent the architectural landscape.
