Designers, entrepreneurs, developers, and ideators: It’s go time. Time to build apps, that build businesses, that build Colorado.

Go Code Colorado, the civic data apps and business challenge, is back. In its first year, Go Code Colorado won the Colorado Technology Association’s APEX award for Best Technology Project, and was honored by Harvard’s Kennedy School for Democratic Government and Innovation as a Bright Idea in this year’s Innovations in American Government Awards competition.

This year, if your team earns a top-ten spot, you earn a trip to Boulder for a Mentor Weekend. The top three winners overall will each get $25,000 in seed money to keep your app going and build out your business.

Learn more at the Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, April 8. Come mix and mingle with other Coloradans at this free, open-to-the-community, business event. It will be an evening to celebrate Colorado Innovation and learn about the problems teams will tackle to help Colorado business thrive. Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and music at the Denver Art Museum, Ponti Hall.
