Come See the Age Explorer Suit

What is it like to navigate the kitchen when you’re 70 years old? We’re about to find out! Our friends at Kitchens at the Denver are hosting the AGE EXPLORER® suit experience on Thursday, October 16. This event is the first of its kind for us at Modern In Denver, and needless to say, we’re pretty excited to be the media sponsor for it. See what it’s like to be 70+ years old and navigate the kitchen when the Blum AGE EXPLORER® suit arrives at Kitchens at the Denver!

The AGE EXPLORER® suit uses weights, gloves, visors, glasses, and other components to inhibit the senses and restrict movement, mirroring the effects of aging 20-25 years. Incorporating the aging experience into cabinet and kitchen design means creating functional spaces that facilitate aging in place, so people don’t have to move out of the homes and neighborhoods they know.

The event takes place at the Kitchens at the Denver showroom at 761 Kalamath in Denver. Enjoy creative catering in the form of Scandinavian-themed food geometry by Michael Long, co-host of The Main Course on KEZW1430. Come for cocktails at 5:30 and the presentation at 6 p.m. Reserve your spot by emailing events@kitchensofcolorado.com!
