What is PechaKucha?

PKN-logo

Besides being a difficult word to pronounce, PechaKucha is an event that takes place in over 600 cities around the world. The concept was stared in Tokyo in February 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham Architecture. The 20×20 format is a simple presentation format where 20 images are shown for 20 seconds each while the presenter speaks about each image. The event was devised as a way for creatives to to get together in a casual and light-hearted atmosphere to share their work and experiences.
