“What’s the shape of sound?” That’s the question Erwan Bouroullec asked himself while designing the look of Samsung’s Music Studio speakers. Apparently, it’s round. To the designer, sound seemed like dots, circles, and spinning records that start and spread. So too, the circular speakers help push sound out evenly to limit distortion. Form meets pure function.
