David Ross constructed the Lily Chair to encourage informal dining in living spaces that may not be able to accommodate permanent dining areas. The Lily Chairs are plyformed stacking chairs: when stacked, they function as a single chair, when separated, they function as two separate chairs. The designer hopes to increase a sense of wellbeing through communal dining without cumbersome dining sets.
