What’s it like to charge an all-electric car? After driving the Modern In Denver BMW i3 for a few months, we can tell you it’s a piece of cake!

If you have your own parking space at home, you can easily charge the BMW i3 using the BMW i Wallbox. This charging station, which is mounted to the wall of the house or the garage, charges the BMW i3 up to 30 percent faster than the standard included charging cable. That means the BMW i3 can reach an 80 percent charge in just about 6 hours.

A common fear with electric car owners is getting stranded without power. Those thoughts can go by the wayside as business owners, parking garages, and companies like ChargePoint have been installing charging stations all over Colorado. ChargePoint offers a handy tool showing you where your closest station is and whether or not the spots are occupied. Once we registered and received our ChargePoint card, it was simple to find a station, swipe the card, and charge the BMW i3 in Denver.
