Women in Design brings architect Audrey Matlock to Denver!
New York-based architect to discuss the power of design in building community
Women in Design (WiD), a Denver-based non-profit dedicated to improving opportunities for women in professions serving the built environment, is proud to present Audrey Matlock as its keystone speaker on October 3rd at 7 p.m. at the McNichols Building in downtown Denver at the intersection of Colfax and Bannock streets. Tickets are $20 for members/$36 for non-members. The event is preceded by a networking reception beginning at 5:30 p.m., which includes hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
Matlock has advanced her career by working on a number of diverse project types including museums, libraries, community spaces and multi-family residential.
“We are thrilled to be able to continue to bring outstanding national and international design talent to Denver,” said Cheryl Bicknell, 2013 Executive Chair of WiD. “Audrey is an inspiration because of her extensive experience with a variety of scales of projects from high rise condominiums to museum complexes,” she added.
